Join us for Introduction to Soccer, a fun and welcoming program designed to help kids experience soccer in a positive, low-pressure environment. In partnership with Calgary Foothills Soccer Club, this session features age-appropriate drills, movement, and small-sided games—perfect for beginners and developing players alike.

All skill levels welcome

Langdon is home to so many incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to make our community a better place. Now it’s time to recognize them! 💙

The Langdon & District Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for Langdon’s Volunteer of the Year, with awards for both:
👉 Adult Volunteer of the Year
👉 Youth Volunteer of the Year (under 18)

After nominations close, selected nominees will move forward to a community voting stage as part of the Langdon & District Chamber of Commerce Golden Horseshoe Awards.

🏆 Winners will be announced and celebrated on April 10, 2026, at the Langdon & District Chamber of Commerce Golden Horseshoe Awards.

• LDCC voting: February 15 – March 15, 2026
• Awards announced: April 10, 2026

📝 To nominate, simply fill out the form. You’ll be asked for the nominee’s name, where they volunteer, why they deserve recognition, and (optionally) a photo.

Craft & Create Weekends are relaxed, social weekends designed for anyone who wants uninterrupted time to work on their favourite hobbies while enjoying the company of others in the community. Whether you’re sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, knitting, painting, puzzling, building models, or simply enjoying quiet creative time, Craft & Create offers dedicated space to spread out, focus, and connect.

Participants receive a 6-foot table space, access to the Fieldhouse, and Saturday supper is included. A shared potluck lunch takes place on Saturday and Sunday, with participants asked to bring a food item to contribute. These weekends are not craft sales — they are all about creativity, conversation, and taking time for yourself.

Craft & Create Weekends are open to ages 13+, or ages 10+ when attending with a parent. Sharing a table with a friend is encouraged and comes with a $10 savings per person per weekend.

All proceeds support Langdon Community Association facility maintenance and improvements.
