Big Truck Petting Zoo – A Hands-On Adventure for Kids!

 Ever wondered what it's like to sit in the driver's seat of a tractor, school bus, construction vehicle, or emergency vehicle? The Langdon Days Big Truck Petting Zoo gives children and families the chance to get up close to some amazing machines while meeting the people who operate them.

Join us Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Langdon Park for this free family-friendly experience. Kids can explore a variety of vehicles, ask questions, take photos, and learn how these machines help build, maintain, and support our communities.

Want to showcase your equipment? We're currently looking for businesses, organizations, farmers, contractors, and operators willing to participate,  please contact langdon.days@goodlucktown.ca.

Langdon Days 2026 is happening July 17–19, 2026, and early registration is now open!

Be part of one of Langdon’s biggest and most anticipated community celebrations.
 

Whether you’re a local business, a creative maker, a proud car owner, or planning a parade float, this is your opportunity to get involved and secure your spot early. Spaces fill quickly each year, so we encourage participants to register as soon as possible.

Langdon Days 2026 – July 17-19

Get ready for Langdon's biggest community celebration of the year! Langdon Days returns July 17–19, 2026, with three days of family fun, community spirit, great food, entertainment, and activities for all ages.

The weekend kicks off Friday evening with Bingo, concessions, the Slow-Pitch Tournament, food trucks, and beer gardens. Saturday starts with a community breakfast followed by the annual Langdon Days Parade and a full day of activities in Langdon Park, including the Children's Festival, vendor market, pickleball tournament, horse wagon rides,  bouncy castles, mechanical riding bull, pony rides, face painting, tattoos, mini golf, Nerf Wars, and much more. The evening wraps up with a family movie in the park and fireworks.

On Sunday at Horseshoe Crossing High School enjoy the Show & Shine Car Show, Cornhole Tournament, Power Wheels Race, live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, and the final day of the Slow-Pitch Tournament.

Be sure to purchase your 50/50 tickets and Power Wheels Raffle tickets for your chance to win big while supporting community programming.

We also encourage everyone to bring a donation for the SERV Food Bank. Donations will be collected along the parade route and throughout Langdon Park during the weekend.

Langdon Days Cornhole Tournament

 

Think you've got the toss to take home the title?

Join us for the Langdon Days Cornhole Tournament, hosted in partnership with the Strathmore Huskers Cornhole Club. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just looking for a fun afternoon with friends and family, this tournament is open to players of all skill levels.

Date: Sunday, July 19, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Horseshoe Crossing High School

Participants will compete in a friendly but competitive tournament for bragging rights . This is a great opportunity to try something new, meet fellow community members, and enjoy the excitement of Langdon Days.

Tournament Details

  • Open to all skill levels
  • Hosted by the Strathmore Huskers Cornhole Club
  • Prize awarded to the winning team
  • Equipment provided
  • Limited spots available

langdon days show & shine returns for 2026

Rev up your engines and join us for the Langdon Show & Shine on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Horseshoe Crossing High School.

As part of the Langdon Days weekend celebrations, this popular event brings together classic cars, custom builds, trucks, motorcycles, and automotive enthusiasts from across the region. Whether you're showing off your pride and joy or simply coming to admire an incredible collection of vehicles, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The event will feature:

  • Live music 
  • Devon Dyno
  • 50/50 raffle 
  • Battle of the Techs competition 
  • Kids' Power Wheels Races 
  • Local vendors and community displays 

Vehicle registration is $15 and begins at 8:00 AM on event day.

Langdon Days is our annual community festival that brings neighbours together to celebrate everything that makes Langdon such a great place to live. From the parade and children’s festival to the pancake breakfast, car show, and entertainment — it takes many amazing volunteers to make this three-day event possible.
