Facilities & Parks Maintenance Worker
Langdon Community Association

The Langdon Community Association is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Worker to help maintain our community facilities and outdoor recreation spaces.

This role supports the operation and upkeep of the Fieldhouse, Qualico Resource Centre, outdoor rink, playground, courts, skate park and park infrastructure. Responsibilities include facility inspections, repairs, grounds maintenance, event setup, equipment operation, and seasonal support such as snow removal.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, performing maintenance tasks, and supporting a variety of community operations.

Hours: Part-time, with seasonal fluctuations (higher hours spring–fall).
Location: Langdon, Alberta

 Now Hiring – Summer Student (Recreation Facility & Parks Attendant) 

The Langdon Community Association is hiring a summer student for 2026 to support recreation facilities, parks, and community events. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working outdoors and contributing to the community. 

We are proud to participate in the Government of Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs program, supporting youth employment and skill development. 

Position Details:
• 8-week position (starting June 30, 2026)
• 35 hours per week
• $15.00 per hour
• Location: Langdon, Alberta 

What You’ll Do:
• Help maintain community facilities and parks
• Assist with event setup and takedown
• Perform light outdoor maintenance (weeding, watering, cleanup)
• Support basic administrative tasks and inventory tracking
• Work as part of a team to keep spaces safe, clean, and welcoming 

Requirements:
• Reliable and able to work both indoors and outdoors
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with light physical work
• Valid driver’s licence is an asset
• A Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check is required for applicants aged 18 and over.
